Cucumber-Chervil Soup

One more for today. Since you are pureeing this, I don’t see the need to add the flour.

2 scallions, chopped
4 tablespoons butter
3 1/2 cucumbers, peeled, seeded, and sliced
1 cup water
Salt and pepper
3 tablespoons flour
3 cups chicken or vegetable broth
1/2 cup minced chervil
1 cup cream or half and half
